As Thinkshift’s principal practitioner, Andrew provides high quality, confidential and compassionate assistance to individuals who are ready to change and ready to shift their thinking.
Andrew offers a holistic approach and range of therapies to facilitate growth and help achieve the changes that his clients are seeking to work with them to achieve their true potential. He firmly believes that clients have the power to shift their thinking.
Andrew studied at The NSW College of Hypnotic Sciences and graduated with a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy in 1995, studying under Anthony Wood and Zoltan Keleman. He has extended his knowledge with post diploma studies in advanced hypnotherapy techniques, rapid inductions, inner child work. In 2009 Andrew completed a Diploma in Ego State Therapy and a Diploma of Professional Counselling from the Australian Institute Of Professional Counsellors, formalising knowledge acquired over the last 20 years.
Andrew is a firm believer in “constant and never ending improvement” and that therapists must be ever expanding their own horizons. He is a professional clinical member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists (ASCH), the Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association (AHA), the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (AACHP), the Association for Meridian Energy Therapies (AMT) and is on the newly created, Australian National Hypnotherapy Register (ANHR). Andrew meets the requirements of Private Health Insurance (Accreditation) Rules 2008, and is a recognised provider for rebates from the following health funds: Medibank Private (0799541B), Australian Unity Health Limited, Grand United & Grand United Corp. Andrew’s diverse range of life experience, positive attitude and capacity to embrace others with respect and empathy allows him to assist many clients to achieve their goals in a confidential, practical way. He uses a blend of Hypnotherapy, Ego State Therapy, NLP, Time Line Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in his practice.
